Hello, everyone.

V0.1.3 Is now available for Everyone!

v0.1.3 is finally here! And it comes with an introduction to the combat system(not a full implementation), a new main quest with tons of h-scenes and more Azalea and Cleo.

I know the Combat UI looks weird and funny, but please remember that MCS is still in development and just like I reworked and improved the quest, relationship and inventory  UIs, I will do the same thing with the combat UI.

New UI

When I started developing MCS, one of the things I ignored and said the classic: "I'll do it later." was the menus.

At first I thought that working on features and story was the best approach and decided to do something basic for the game menus.

But then, I realized how important these menus are, e.g.:

The quest menu looked small on Android devices and it was a bit difficult to read the objectives and quest description, which impacted the gameplay, as quests are an important feature of MCS.


Quest information should be easier to read in this new UI. Not to mention it looks better overall.

Another example was the relationship menu. Even though there is not much information to show, the intimacy and the h-hints were confusing to read(at least for me).


The heart shows the progress of your intimacy with a girl. When you reach 100%, you will be able to spend time with her and an event will be triggered (as long as you are in the right place e.g.: the park).

This new menu looks, in my opinion, better.


The Inventory was fine, but I didn't like the design.


Relationships

Added two new relationship scenes.

First relationship event with Azalea and new h-scene.


First relationship event with Cleo and new h-scene.


New main quest with Noa.

This new quest includes a lot of animation and h-scenes and it's also really important to the story.


New Introduction to the Combat System (WIP)

During the new quest Noa will introduce us to aggressive souls and the new combat system.

This is just an introduction not a full implementation. Combat will be fully implemented in future updates.

Please remember this game is still in development and most things are a WIP. And just like I did with the quest UI, relationship UI and inventory UI, I will improve and change the combat UI.

Improved the way repeatable animations play to reduce the chances of crashing.
